· Misalignment Correction: If misalignment occurs, adjust the tensioning shaft and check whether the sprockets at both ends are synchronized.

1. Core Dimensional Parameters

· Pitch: Refers to the distance between the centers of two adjacent chain plate pins, which determines the conveying accuracy and load-bearing capacity.
· Light/Medium Duty: 25.4 mm, 31.75 mm, 38.1 mm (suitable for food and light industry)
· Heavy-duty: 50.8 mm, 63.5 mm, 76.2 mm (suitable for stamping and mining)
· Extra-heavy-duty: 101.6 mm and above
· Plate Thickness: Directly affects load-bearing capacity and service life.
· Common range: 1.0 mm – 4.0 mm
· Recommendations: Choose 1.0–1.5 mm for light-duty applications; choose 2.5 mm or above for heavy-duty applications.
· Chain plate width: Primarily custom-made. Single-row chains typically start at 63 mm; actual production dimensions are determined based on customer requirements.

2. Materials and Performance

· Stainless steel: 304 (food/heat-resistant) or 316 (strong acids and alkalis) are recommended. SUS420 is commonly used for wear-resistant straight-run chains.
· Carbon Steel: Ordinary steel or 45Mn steel. Low cost and extremely high strength, but must undergo anti-corrosion treatment.
· Performance Specifications: The larger the pitch, the greater the tensile strength (e.g., a 101.6mm pitch can achieve a maximum tensile strength of 226.8 kN). Recommended speed should be kept below 2.5 m/s, and the turning radius is typically required to be ≥ 150mm.

3. Structural Details and Customization

· Flat Plate: Standard flat surface, suitable for smooth conveying.
· Perforated Plate: Features round or slotted holes for oil drainage, water drainage, or ventilation.
· Side Guards: Installed on both sides or across the width to prevent material from sliding off, suitable for steep inclines.

4. Quick Selection Guide

Heavy-duty chip removal/stamping applications (heavy scrap, oily conditions): Select a pitch of 50.8 mm or greater + 2.5 mm plate thickness + carbon steel (cost-effective) or 304 stainless steel (corrosion-resistant).

High-temperature drying/food processing applications (heat resistance, drainage): Select 38.1 mm pitch + 1.5 mm thick perforated plate + 304 stainless steel.
